Soi Ha pomelo originates from Soi Ha village in Xuan Van commune, Yen Son district, and is renowned for its rare, sweet variety cultivated for over 40 years from three original mother trees. Celebrated for its unique, fragrant flavor, Soi Ha pomelo was named one of Vietnam’s Top 10 Brands in 2018.
Its distinctive quality is attributed to the region’s unique geographical conditions: moderately sloped terrain along the Lo and Gam rivers, fertile alluvial soil over 1 meter deep, rich in organic matter, and ideal pH and nutrient levels. Strict selection of certified mother-stock trees and eco-friendly farming practices—such as organic fertilizers and biological pest control—enhance the fruit’s natural sweetness and aroma. |
